Day 27 - 29th March 2009

Sunday means going back to school the next day. Siannn. Stayed in the dorm practically the whole day. We packed back lunch from the stalls near the girls dorm. I had ja jiang mian & milk tea for lunch. Then we cooped ourselves up in our dorm, studying. & dinner was at halal place, again. HAHAHA ! Then went to the nearby streets to walk around for awhile & digest at the same time. & back to the dorm we go ! :D

Short post cause there's nothing much to blog about. Haha, will update again ! Sayonara !

Day 26 - 28th March 2009

Hiiiii !!! It's finally Saturday !!! We woke up like pretty late again. 11 plus in the morning. Heehee :D Saturdays & Sundays are the besttt ! So, we stayed in since it was raining & also really windy when we woke up. Freezing cold. Seems like it went back to the first day when we just touched down. So, after the rain stopped, went to get some lunch near the girls dorm. & then we were drowning ourselves in books. Showered & then met Shakir, Jonathan, Fareez & Aziz over at our dorm's lobby. The initial plan was to meet them at their dorm instead cause we wanted to go to the Southeast gate which was nearer to their dorm. So, after we met them, we walked to the Southeast gate which is also known as the pasar malam place to us. Ate at the halal place there. Their dan chao fan is double thumbs up ! It's better than the usual halal place's dan chao fan. So, after eating, we met Wilfred & the rest plus Agnes & the other two girls outside the halal place. Then we went on separate ways.

Went to explore their Bugis street after. There's quite a number of stuff there just that I couldn't see anything that I liked. So went home empty handed. Aqilah & Kang Qi bought socks again. Haha, Shakir bought a Boss cologne for like 40RMB ? Fake or real, you decide. So after we finished walking Bugis street, went over to check out their KTV. We wanted to go to this KTV which has hostess there but the price was like 100 plus RMB per hour so we decided to just go to a cheap one instead. & we ended up with a 20RMB per hour KTV. Looks really rundown though. & if only they had more english songs, & chinese ones too. Would have been good ;) Left the place about 11 plus. & then had a slow walk back to our dorm.

Kit & I were making a bet. & in the end, we just started laughing to ourselves. Heehee ! So, we sang songs while walking back to our dorm. & halfway through, we decided to prank someone but mission failed !!! ): Haiya. So came back & came online for awhile. Slept about 1 in the morning. & that's all for today !

Day 25 - 27th March 2009

So Day 25 is here. Another 2 weeks plus more before I return to Singapore. Pretty fast isn't it ? So today was Chinese calligraphy for about 2 hours from 8:15am to about 10:45am in the morning. Then we had our break till 12noon before we return back to our classroom for our Quiz 3 !!! (P/S: The quiz's last question was a killer for practically all of us.) Stress ah. Common test is like 3 days away excluding today -.- So fast. -shakes head.

So, chinese calligraphy was fun. But I didn't really understand the history behind it. Ohhwells. HAHA ! I thought it was a really short lesson though cause the teacher was the one drawing & writing using the brush most of the time. If only we had more paper & time !!! It'll be awesome. Or maybe if someone fell asleep, they'll turn out like PCK (Phua Chu Kang) ! You know why ? Cause i'll just use the brush & the black ink to go draw on their face :P Haha, not gonna happen already anyway.

Alright, so lunch was at Halal place with Kit, Aqilah, Kang Qi, Shakir, Aziz, Fareez & Jonathan. I changed what I ate usually. I had Gan Ban Mian ! Tastes like spaghetti you know. After eating, we were sitting there & just chatting about quite a number of topics to mention. & when it was time, off we went for class. The actual plan was to have tutorial first but it ended up with just quiz straight away. It has always been the case here. Heehee :D Everyone wants to go back to their dorm you see ;)

Went back to the dorm, continued blogging & then I had my nap till like 7 plus. & guess who came up ? Shakir, Jonathan & Aziz. Cause they had some interview with the Chinese Studies students who apparently are living here too. They're going to be here till July ?! That's like so long !!! -envies. We showered then went out for dinner after. We had the 'fake KFC' for dinner. Some coupon fastfood restaurant. It was only my second time there though. The weather was super windy & it was drizzling. We were freezing though we wore quite a number. Went back to the dorm after. We have to like go through obstacles just to reach our dorm since they are doing some constructions over at our place here. So our shoes gets all muddy & soiled. Tsk.

After that, we caught Shutter using Aqilah's laptop. But for me, three quarters of the time, my pillow was covering my eyes. Hearing the movie is already scary enough for me already. & thanks to Shakir, I screamed once -.- & for what ? FOR NOTHING !!! There wasn't even anything on the screen !!! Alamak. We couldn't finish the whole show cause our hostel here closes at 11pm in the night. So, the guys went off halfway. HAHA ! Luckily I didn't have to watch the whole show.

I was listening to my Ipod the whole night. Power pact. HAHA, cause I couldn't sleep -.-

Ok, that's it for Day 25. Pretty thrilling day all thanks to Shutter.

Day 24 - 26th March 2009

Yo ! It's really a mundane day today. I'm not kidding !!! We had like Maths again at 10 in the morning. Tutorial. Then after that, was lunch. Halal place. Dan chao fan. Seems quite long since I ate that. So I decided to have that for my lunch. But I wasn't that hungry so I shared with Kang Qi. Went to class after. We continued with our lecture from where we stopped yesterday.

Back to the dorm after. & there I was trying to catch up with my blogging since I haven't been updating for quite afew days. This week was tiring. Hectic too. Cooked dinner. Guess what we had ? We had what the guys ate yesterday night. Mee sua. After that, showered & then studied.

About 10 plus 11, we got distracted & we were digging out our old school photos. Hahaha, now all of them saw me in short hair already. So, pretty much that was how it went today. Oh, & Kit & I were having fun cause.... (it's a secret) Only our dorm mates know. Heehee :B Don't so kaypo lah. Hahaha !

Alright, short post since I got nothing much to entertain you about & I don't want to bore you out too. My counter is increasing very quickly !!! Shocking. HAHA ! Alright, see you people !!! Chinese calligraphy & Maths tutorial & quiz tmrw !!!

Day 23 - 25th March 2009

It's already Day 23 !!! It's like almost the end of the trip already to me. Since half of the trip was already history. So, it was Maths lecture again today. 10am lessons are the best !!! Oh yes, & I checked my IS class for next sem. I got into Events Management !!! Yay yay !!! My first choice !!! Yay yay !!! Alright, so we had lecture in the morning. Laplace Transformation. Bet you don't know what is that. Unless you studied it or something. Everything was practically the same as what we did yesterday. Lunch was at the usual place, classroom was at the usual place too. Life's mundane once exams are nearing. All you could do was drown yourself in piles & piles of books & questions.

Common Test is on April Fool's. I wonder why they set it on this day though. Maybe Common Test was just a joke ? I wish -.- So, lessons ended about 1 plus. & then we came back to the dorm. & guess what we did after ? We went to play badminton downstairs & we bought two shuttles which cost 1.50RMB each ;) Cheap huh. So, when we were playing halfway, Shakir & gang came over. So, practically the whole place was filled with our group mates. Awesome scene to see everyone enjoying & bonding. HAHA ! Soccer, basketball & badminton all at one go ! We rented badminton rackets from our hostel & guess what ? All the badminton rackets' conditions were terrible. But we continued playing since it was still usable. But after afew games, the face of the badminton racket started flying all over, the handle started to come off -.- & when we return it to the security, they told us to pay since the badminton rackets couldn't even be used anymore. But then, after much argument, we ended up not having to pay. Heehee :D They played soccer & basketball till evening 7 plus ? Then about 7 of them hung out at the lobby playing with the soccer ball. & they were like passing the soccer ball using their head & I told them that it may cause you to lose alot of brain cells & in the end, you end up being stupid. So they switched to just juggling the ball using legs. Pretty impressed with what they can do with just a soccer ball. Hahaha !

The guys wanted to stay for dinner so we had to get more food. Went to get the groceries & they had mee sua. HAHA ! Mee sua's like the easiest to cook for us. The four of us (Aqilah, Kit, Kang Qi & I) had our original plan still. We had pasta :B The guys played Tai Ti then went off after dinner. We showered & then off to bed !!!

What a tiring day !

Day 22 - 24th March 2009

Hello ! We were suppose to have Chinese calligraphy writing at 8:15am in the morning today. But apparently, the teacher wasn't free to come over. So we adjusted our timetable & therefore, we had Maths for the whole day. Had tutorials in the morning & i'm finally done with my 2nd topic's tutorial. Then after that, was lunch. Needless to say, it's Halal place again ;) Went to get groceries at the underground market for dinner tonight after. We were planning to cook porridge with stir-fried veggies & salted egg. But when we got home, we realised that there wasn't enough rice for everyone. So, Aqilah & Kang Qi had porridge in the end while Kit & I had mee sua. I'm like sick of mee sua & rice already. Haha, no more rice or mee sua when I get back to Singapore.

Before dinner, Kit & I went out as she wanted to replace her fake nails since it had a crack already. & guess what ? I ended up doing also ! 40RMB with 2 finger nails with drawn on flowers using those crystals. First time doing fake fingernails & I considered alot. Hahaha,& Kit finally had the blue nails which she has always wanted. Heehee :DWent to walk around there after. But we couldn't find anything that we wanted. So we decided to go to the shopping centre which reminds us of Far East. Kit saw 2 shirts which she liked but after much consideration, she decided not to get. HAHA ! In the end, the both of us went back empty handed.

So dinner after, & then I showered. Studied alittle & off I went to bed :D Overall, this was what I did today. Nothing special, nothing fantastic. Just like any ordinary day ;)

Day 21 - 23rd March 2009

Day 4 on the cruise ! Which is also the the last day on the cruise !!! :D Like finally !!! Hahaha ! The cruise reached the shore before lunch. So after that, we went for lunch at the same place where we had our dinner the other day before heading for the cruise. Just that this time round, it seems as though we are VIPs so we had a room all to ourselves. Heehee :D Anyway, you haven't seen our bedroom yet have you ? I'll show you !!!

The cruise toilet is like on the plane that kind of toilet just that this toilet there's an extra shower head. Hahaha ! You can imagine how small it is.

Got on the bus after lunch. 5 hours of bus ride back. We had a toilet break in between though after about 3 hours of bus ride. & I woke up when we reach the toilet break stop thanks to someone. Shan't mention names here la huh. You know who you are :B Tried to continue sleeping till the long bus ride is over but to no avail. So, I just plucked in my Ipod & listen to my songs instead :D

We reached back at our University at about 7 plus in the evening. Brought our bags back to the dorm then we waited for the guys to call to go have dinner at Halal place. After dinner, the guys came over to collect their laptops & off they went.

Unpacked all my stuff. Showered & washed my clothes & I was done for the day :D Tmrw's a new day & also the start of Maths again /: If only there was a course called 'Holiday Course'. Shiok only ah !!!
